It is extremely hard to set up your own business at such a young age, having enough money is one thing but getting people to take you seriously is quite another. However, when things started to fall into place that’s when people realised, I’m serious about this product and whether it’s the right choice or not, I’m doing it anyway.
Unfortunately, it was many members of family who sparked the idea of Nibble N Often, eating became a constant problem and watching your family deteriorate is heart breaking. We even bought ready meals from M&S to try and satisfy their taste buds but nothing ever worked. My Grandad ended up on clinical milkshakes which he hated, he watched whilst everyone else enjoyed a Sunday lunch and it reminded him of the fact he was so poorly. By bringing bitesize snacks to family members, it was crazy how much a little bit of food can bring life to their eyes. My mum was 54 when she could barely eat anything and I was 17, showing it really can hit us at any age.
One of my family members was not suffering from any type of illness, but she struggled to eat in general. Many elderly people completely lose their appetite as they get older, the less they eat, the more they deteriorate, which is equally as heart breaking. When my Grandma was in hospital, instead of a bunch of flowers I bought her a hamper filled with snacks to help her eat more. This is where Nibble N Often fits in with a great gift idea too!
Through research of my own, (trust me, I’m no scientist,) I believe Nibble N Often really can help people of any age, it may not get them back into eating again like myself.. but it will make them feel more comfortable and maybe happier in themselves.
My mum raised so much money for charity nearing the end of her life, therefore, I want to do my bit to help people as much as I can. If my small, (slightly medium sized) box can put a smile on someone’s face and maybe, just for a second, make them that little bit happier.. my work here is well and truly done.
If you have any advice or feedback, please feel free to drop me a message! It would be greatly appreciated.
All my love and keep on Nibblin,
